Yesterday PAL dove head first into learning!

🔹The teens explored and see if Bruin life is in their future. They got a visit from a current Bruin, former PAL member! Then got to pick the brains behind and find out what it’s like in a start-up and how they got there.

🔹Meanwhile, the rest of the group went off to see a working farm, Underwood Family Farms Learned about the ins and outs of a farm, picked yummy veggies to bring home and fed some animals.

This past weekend, several of our PAL youth members had the opportunity to spend three days experiencing college life at the CSU Channel Islands campus while learning about various career paths.

We are thrilled to announce that on Wednesday, July 10, we recognized 11 amazing Juniors and Seniors for the Chris Carrey Scholarship! These young individuals have demonstrated outstanding achievements; we couldn’t be prouder.

Thank you to Senator Ben Allen and Antonio Vazquez from the Board of Equalization for attending and recognizing our Santa Monica Police Activities League youth.
