Training Opportunity for Non Profits in NM

As we prepare for the New Mexico 2027 Legislative Session, the Alliance invites community members, partners, and health council members to join our Advocacy In Action Training with Carter Bundy and the Alliance team.

When you share your story and speak with a unified message, legeslative decisions reflect the priorities of New Mexicans. This advocacy in action training prepares you to show up with confidence, make your message heard and strengthen your advocacy efforts.

During this one-hour session, you will learn the difference between advocacy and lobbying, build a clear and powerful elevator pitch , understand the legislative process and join a shared advocacy message for improving public health in NM. The Alliance team will provide timely udpates on 2027 Health Council Funding bill, advocacy effors and how to engage with your legislator.
Health Councils are the connective tissue of public health, the lifeline to communities for accessing resources for a healthy and thriving New Mexico. We are stronger when we work together!
