Caleb's Lemonade Stand A Lemonade Stand and Hot Chocolate Stand supporting B.I.G. Love Cancer Care, supplying toys and smiles to the cancer kiddos at Texas Children's Hospital. WOW!

Caleb's idea to do a lemonade stand to raise money for kids with cancer came from something he said he saw on Barney. At the first lemonade stand, he met Bryson, a cancer survivor and a kiddo who received services from B.I.G. Love Cancer Care when he was in the hospital. So, Bryson joined us as for the second "stand." For the third stand we added Daniel, also a cancer survivor, and a friend of Bry

son's. We also added Charley, a second grader who thought it looked like fun to sell lemonade and raise money for kids with cancer. We (the adults) thought it would be fun for the kiddos to do a Hot Chocolate Stand during the colder weather. We were lucky to have Hot Chocolate Weather shirts donated by a company so the kids looked cute. What a great experience for them. To date, they have raised just under $2500. Caleb (the CEO) decided he also wanted some of the money to go to research since he wants to find a cure for cancer. That is why he decided to also donate money to Snowdrop Foundation to go towards research. This is an incredible thing for the kids to experience. I can't wait until they are old enough to go deliver toys themselves.

Here's a request that won't cost you a penny. I have had the privilege to have met Tammy and her family about 15 years ago when her daughter was undergoing treatment at TCH. Just go to this link and watch her video. It captures the essence of Tammy and the love she brings to the families attending The Periwinkle Foundation's family camp, which is held the same weekend as Camp YOLO. Just click and vote. Help Caleb raise money for pediatric cancer kiddos. Snowdrop Foundation provides scholarships to pediatric cancer survivors, research dollars for a doctor at TCH, and programs for kiddos battling cancer while at the hospital. Every penny helps. Caleb will be attempting 100 miles again this year (New Year's weekend) and your monetary support will encourage him since he'll know he's helping kids. Pease donate before the 30th since there is a fundraising contest.
