The last sock creature from our first batch of has been abandoned inside of the Plaza Hotel in Las Vegas, New Mexico! 🎄

As soon as our sewers saw this empty spot in the historic hotel's lobby, we knew that it was where our last sock creature was meant to wait for his/her/their new family! Did you find our Sock Creature 4 Dakota in Las Vegas? Let us know! ✨️

Sock Creature-hiding has had to slow down over the past few months (due to our team here at falling behind on Sock Creature-building), but we think it's about time that a new batch came to life, don't you think? 😉

When in Taos, you're bound to run in to travelers from all over the country, who stop at the Rio Grande Gorge rest area to stretch their legs, browse what the local vendors have to offer, and most importantly, admire the view overlooking the gorge!

Well, that was certainly the case on Saturday, when another was hidden for a lucky passerby to find! 😊 Do you recognize this spot at the Rio Grande Gorge Bridge? If so, you may want to look a little closer, because there's a Stupid Sock Creature waiting for you! 🧦❤️

Yesterday, a was hidden outside of Maggie's Diner in Madrid, New Mexico, which was a filming location for the movie "Wild Hogs!" Someone very special must have found him, because he was gone before our makers even left town! 🥰

May he bring the lucky finders joy, comfort, and a lasting friendship! ❤️🧦

A second has been left in Colorado, this time at the famous Stanley Hotel in Estes Park! So whether you're a restless spirit that roams the halls of the Stanley, or you're just in town to attend one of the hotel's "The Shining" tours, keep an eye open, because you may just stumble across one of our Stupid Sock Creatures! 👻🧦

The first Stupid to be left out of state was hidden at the Courtyard Marriott (Cherry Creek) in Denver, Colorado! And if that wasn't exciting enough--we received a message just *10 minutes later* saying that he was found!! 😱

To his new family, thank you so much for taking him home! We hope he brings you comfort, joy, and reminders with each warm hug that you are cherished. 💚🧦🧡

Where has our next Stupid been hidden? Why, none other than the Santuario de Chimayo!

The Santuario de Chimayo is an incredibly popular site to visit for native New Mexicans and tourists alike, for it's said that the church sits on healing ground. In fact, the grounds are believed to be so healing, that every Easter, people make pilgrimages from all over New Mexico to pray at the church and collect some of its soil.

No matter your faith or your beliefs, we could probably all use a bit of healing, couldn't we? ❤️ We hope that someone who finds comfort in the Santuario's dirt also finds comfort in the love that we put into our Sock Creature as well!
