Today we recognize Mallory Richardson!

Player Name: Mallory Richardson

Player position: Pitcher/ 1B

When did you start playing softball and what was your favorite memory from then?
⭐️I started playing softball when I was 8 and my favorite memory from then was trying to be a catcher.

Favorite memory playing high school softball?
⭐️One of my favorite memories was the whole trip to Corpus Christi my sophomore year.

If you could give any piece of advice to a younger player wanting to be like you, what advice would you give?
⭐️I would say to support your team and create a good atmosphere around you.

Who do you look up to in life?
⭐️I look up to my parents because they have sacrificed so much for me and they always have my back.

Favorite Quote: “a negative mind will never give you a positive life”

Plans after High School?
⭐️attend Grayson College to continue my education in the healthcare field and play softball

Where do you see yourself in ten years?
⭐️I see myself being a pediatrician, getting married and starting a family of my own.

Athletic Trainer: CAGLE!!

Plans after high school:
⭐️ leave for Boot Camp in June for the Navy and become a MA (police) and get a degree in kinesiology

Fun fact:
⭐️ I like spicy candy and when people give me cinnamon candy I give them all to Hadley!

Favorite memory:
⭐️ when I finally realized at an overnight tournament, this wasn’t just a team I work with but a team that includes me and I wouldn’t ever have what I have now working with any other sport. 

Advice for the team:
⭐️ don’t complain about problems when you haven’t tried making solutions yet

⭐️my dad because he is the person that pushes me to be my best
