🐾 Meet Bibi—a beautiful 190-pound Great Dane with an even bigger personality! 🐾

Today, we had the pleasure of giving this gentle giant a professional dental cleaning. Just look at those before-and-after results! 🦷✨

No matter how big or small your pet may be, dental health is an important part of their overall health and happiness. Regular dental cleanings help remove plaque and tartar, freshen breath, and keep those teeth and gums looking and feeling the way they should.

🧹✨ A little behind-the-scenes work at Fix Ur Pet!

We’ve been busy cleaning, reorganizing, and making some changes around the clinic as we prepare to welcome new team members and increase our capacity to care for even more pets in our community. 🐾

Growth means a little rearranging, a lot of teamwork, and finding better ways to make our space work for both our patients and our staff.

We’re excited about what’s ahead and grateful to our amazing team and community for continuing to support our mission of providing accessible, affordable veterinary care. ❤️

Today, the world lost a true icon. 💔

Dolly Parton will forever be remembered for her incredible music, unmistakable personality, and larger-than-life presence, but her legacy reaches far beyond the stage. She spent her life finding ways to give back, including extending that compassion to animals in need.

Dolly often spoke about her love for animals, and in 2022 she launched Doggy Parton, with a portion of the proceeds benefiting Willa B. Farms Animal Rescue, an organization dedicated to providing a safe and loving home for homeless, neglected, abused, and abandoned animals.

For those of us who dedicate our lives to animal welfare, there is something especially meaningful about seeing someone with such an enormous platform use it to encourage kindness and compassion for animals.

Today we remember not only the songs, the rhinestones, and the unmistakable voice, but the heart behind it all.

Rest easy, Dolly. Thank you for reminding the world that success means even more when you use it to help others, two-legged and four-legged alike.

Yesterday, we let everyone know that we had some last-minute appointments available… and today, we ended up caring for nearly 80 animals!

Today’s case was an older, intact male pug who came to us with a concerning scrotal mass suspected to be cancerous.

We were able to surgically remove the mass, correct his stenotic nares, and neuter him at the same time. 💙 Cases like this are an important reminder that spay/neuter isn’t only about preventing unwanted litters—it can also prevent or allow us to address serious reproductive disease as pets age.

We’re hoping this sweet guy has a smooth recovery and many more comfortable years ahead of him. 🐾

Access to care is about more than simply making veterinary services affordable — it’s also about sharing knowledge.

When veterinary professionals educate pet owners, empower support staff, share skills with one another, and use every member of the veterinary team to their fullest potential, we can reach more pets and help families make better decisions for their animals.

Knowledge shouldn’t stay siloed. The more we teach, share, and collaborate, the greater our impact becomes. 🐾
