Train Up a Child NOLA Train Up a Child NOLA is a 501(c)3 Non-Profit Organization, located in the New Orleans area.

We provide access for underserved youth to receive mentorship, college scholarships & career development.

In partnership with AARP Livable Communities, we successfully launched our first Senior Disaster Preparedness Course yesterday at Beacon Light International Cathedral. In addition to delivering essential safety education, our team distributed disaster relief kits directly to local residents. Empowering our seniors with the knowledge and resources to navigate emergencies is vital, and we look forward to expanding this initiative in future workshops. This past Saturday, Train Up A Child NOLA proudly celebrated our 10-year anniversary! To mark this milestone, we awarded college scholarships to four incredibly deserving students and announced several exciting new partnerships that will shape our future. We are more energized than ever for what’s ahead.
We want to extend our deepest gratitude to Marguarite and the Desire/Florida Multi-Cultural Center, Councilman Eugene Greene, Wild Wayne of Q93, Michael Franklin, and Dr. Bree Cook for their outstanding presentations. A special thank you to the John F. Kennedy Class of 2001 for showing up and showing out!
