On our organic farm, we provide job training, transitional employment & support services to people experiencing homelessness. Our mission: In the soil of our urban farm and garden, people find the tools they need to build a home in the world. We envision a thriving and inclusive community, workforce and local food system. Our programs take place in our 3.5 acre CCOF-certified organic farm, and in
our enterprises. Through our farm enterprises, we operate a Community Supported Agriculture program, a farm stand & wholesale accounts. In our Value-Added Enterprise, trainees create products using raw materials grown on the farm which are sold online and at 1338 Pacific Avenue, our Downtown Store. Cultivating Community, our community education and volunteer program serves 2500 people annually, sharing hands-on learning and service learning on our farm, in our store and events. Please see our website for more information about COVID policies for volunteers. In partnership with the City of Santa Cruz, we’re building a permanent site, Pogonip Farm.
