The Pleasurize Music Foundation (short PMF) is driven by the vision of a world of music with meaningful and informed loudness decisions. We support this vision by providing tools (Dynamic Range Meter - short DRMeter - & DROffline Meter and in the future even more useful tools) and information. We believe that a better sound quality of released music has an important impact on listening pleasure fa
r beyond pure audiophile aspects. Vital sound quality has also impact on "healthy listening". Therefore we support research in these areas. After an impactful launch in 2009 the PMF has influenced millions of records in a positive way though encouraging producers for more meaningful loudness decisions. The release of Darf Punk´s "Random Access Memories" marks a milestone for music releases with meaningful loudness decisions which were done by extensive use of PMF´s DRMeter. In 2017 the PMF restarts after an activity break in order to release a new website with updated concepts to target the needs in support of more "vital" music releases. Stay tuned...
