The CALI Project At CALI, Community Alliance for Lifelong Independence, we coach differently-abled adults in life skills and work with them to integrate into the community

Founded in 2016, CALI is an intensive, two year, goal based, life skill training program that uses an innovative coaching approach in a part-time temporary residential setting known as a CALI Transition Home (CTH). Unlike traditional life skill training programs, CALI provides the opportunity for consumers to transition slowly into the adult world. By coming to a CTH for a portion of each week our

consumers experience what it's like to live on their own with the safety of returning to their familiar environment to practice their new found skills.

Behind every member of our crew, there is often a father or father figure who never stopped believing in them. Who showed up on the hard days, cheered on the good ones and loved fiercely through it all. 💙

Today, we honor every dad, stepdad, grandfather, uncle, coach and mentor who has ever stood in that role. Your love is not just felt, its woven int o every milestone every person reaches.

The CALI Crew showed up for Hiking Club and brought every bit of their enthusiasm with them! 🥾🌄
Trying something new, breathing in the fresh air, and taking on the trail together as a team.
This was also a great opportunity to practice real navigation skills learning how to read their surroundings, stay on course and move through the trail with awareness!

For some, its cooking a meal for the first time. For others, it’s confidently navigating a new place, managing a morning routine or exploring a new activity. We don’t define what independence should look like, we walk alongside you as you discover it for yourself. 🙌

We believe differently abled adults deserve more than just care. They deserve the chance to grow, lead and live-fully and on their own terms.
