What a great week for the UCSB community! 💙💛

On Wednesday, Staff Assembly was thrilled to be part of UCSB Wellbeing Day, connecting with colleagues at the Wellness Walk & Expo and celebrating the many ways our campus supports staff wellbeing. Thank you to everyone who stopped by our table. We loved seeing so many familiar and new faces! We were also delighted to have the opportunity to connect Chancellor Dennis Assanis and his wife, Eleni, and Storkie during the Expo.

To cap off the week, our current and incoming Staff Assembly Co-Chairs had the opportunity to meet with Chancellor Assanis. Pictured are 2025–26 Co-Chairs Kristen Ikeda Yoza and Alex Moretto alongside incoming 2026–27 Co-Chairs Maritza Fuljencio and Emma Cristofani. We appreciate the opportunity to connect, share Staff Assembly's ongoing work, and look ahead to another year of supporting and advocating for UCSB staff.

Thank you to everyone who helps make our campus community such a welcoming and supportive place. We look forward to another great year ahead!

As we begin a new fiscal year, we’re taking a moment to reflect on and celebrate staff members who were recognized in FY26 with the Staff Citation of Excellence Awards. 💙
Each year, these awards honor staff whose dedication, service, and contributions make a meaningful impact across UC Santa Barbara and help strengthen our campus community.
While the recognition took place earlier this year, we wanted to take this opportunity to once again celebrate and acknowledge these honorees and thank them for all they do.
Please join us in congratulating our FY26 Staff Citation of Excellence Award recipients!
