Today, the Santa Barbara Coalition for Responsible Cannabis announced a milestone agreement with Carpinteria cannabis grower Pacific Grown Organics to ensure that this new operation will not be a source of odor and to test a new odor abatement and monitoring technology in the greenhouse, setting an example for the rest of the county that solutions are possible.

The agreement provides a variety of benefits that both PGO and the Coalition hope will move toward a mutually beneficial future for the community and the cannabis industry, with enhanced odor abatement technology, scientific monitoring, necessary improvements and oversight that is both effective and environmentally safe.
