What if the reason some friendships feel heavy is because we’re asking people to carry what only God can? đŸŒ±

In this conversation with the wonderful .t.hurley, author of Together is a Beautiful Place, we talked about what it looks like to cultivate friendships that actually flourish through every season of life.

One of the most powerful reminders was this:
Sometimes growth requires pruning.

Where have we started depending more on friends than on the Lord? Where are we finding our value? Are we finding it in people or in God?

Pruning isn’t punishment, it’s actually preparation! God gently reveals what needs to be surrendered so our relationships can grow in healthier, more life-giving ways.

It’s by His grace, we reach the blooming stage, a place of gratitude, contentment, and celebration for the friendships He’s already given us. đŸ€

What if being understood was never the goal?

In this week’s episode, krueger shared about a season of feeling deeply misunderstood in relationships, where the more she tried to explain herself, the more unseen she felt.

Then her husband said something that stayed:

Jesus was the most misunderstood person to ever live.
And yet
being understood was never His goal. đŸ€

That perspective shifts everything.

Understanding, especially in close relationships is a beautiful gift. But it was never meant to be the foundation.

Because peace isn’t found in everyone “getting you,”
it’s found in being fully known by God.

Maybe it’s time to release the pressure to be understood
and start living from a deeper place instead.

No more hiding. No more burying the shame.

What if the very thing you try to avoid is the place where healing begins?

In this conversation, unpacks the moment Jesus meets the woman at the well and shows us a God who doesn’t avoid our story, but steps right into it.

Through His love and mercy, Jesus doesn’t just expose what’s buried, He redeems it. His blood washes away our sins, makes us white as snow, and offers us a new beginning. ❀

Nothing is too broken. Nothing is too hidden.

Our body, even with its limitations, challenges, or things we wish were different, is still a gift. đŸ©”

God gave us this body on purpose, just as it is.

How can it become a vessel to praise Him, worship Him, and experience His presence?

Through movement. Through stillness. Through prayer. ✹

Even in the smallest ways
 He is with us.
