Hearts Aligned helps low income families in Santa Barbara County that have a critically ill child by providing financial assistance, family support and advocacy. Mission
We help families with critically ill children living in Santa Barbara County by providing financial assistance, personal support and patient advocacy. was formed to support families in Santa Barbara County that have a critically ill child. We were established in 2021 in response to a growing need from conversations with a diverse group of families impacted by a variety of childhood illnesses. Our support will be broad based to fill the gaps for families not served by others who may specialize in one particular area. We provide financial support and personal assistance to families who are struggling with the daily stress of providing for their family. Beyond financial support, we are there to walk with these families, to create connections for them, empower them, and help deliver peace in their lives.

This month is SIDS Awareness Month. According to the CDC, SIDS claims the lives of roughly 1,350 infants each year in America alone. Navigating the sudden loss of an infant causes an immense amount of distress for families worldwide.

Hearts Aligned understands the profound importance of supporting families who have lost a child to SIDS. Remember, you are not alone, and Hearts Aligned is here to help. 💙

October 11–17 is National Case Management Week, a time to recognize the dedicated professionals who help families navigate complex challenges and connect them with the support they need.

At Hearts Aligned, our case managers are at the heart of our work. They walk alongside families caring for a critically ill child — listening, advocating, coordinating resources, providing practical support, and helping families navigate the financial and emotional challenges that come with a child's serious medical condition.

Our case managers build relationships, provide reassurance during overwhelming times, and make sure families know they are not facing this journey alone.
