These Volunteers crushed it at the Restoration event we partnered with Watershed Stewards Program CCC corps on. It was a huge success 🙌. When the Restoration volunteers needed a break they come by and hang in the shade learning about how this event helps with steelhead conservation. Thank you Ventura Land Trust for letting us on your space! California Trout

I had a wonderful time at free museum day! Attendees came over to learn about , their lifecycle, habitats they live in, their ecology, and much more! Here you can see people playing the Southern Steelhead Lifecycle Game (GREAT FOR ALL AGES 🤭).

Southern Steelhead are critically endangered and one the best things about this location was right across the way, is Mission Creek, which runs through the muesum. Mission Creek is known to have steelhead presiding in it. In fact the SB Natural History Museum observed Southern steelhead in Mission Creek not too long ago!

Join me tomorrow at the SCV Eco Alliance Eco-Film Festival! The event is free! Take some time and enjoy some films.
