Child Creativity Lab

Child Creativity Lab To cultivate creativity by providing kids with the experiences they need to look at the world in new ways.

Fostering the next generation of critical thinkers, problem solvers, innovators, leaders, and environmental stewards through hands-on creativity-enhancing exploration of STEAM concepts using renewable materials. We engage kids with Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) programs. Our approach to teaching uses the Design Thinking process and “STEAM” — the "A" (art) adds the ability for students to look at a situation from new and creative angles and inspires innovation.

What an incredible day at Santiago STEAM Day! Students teamed up to design and build wind-powered sail cars, then put their creations to the test in an exciting final race. The energy, teamwork, and creativity made for a day full of learning and fun from start to finish! 🚗💨✨

Huge thanks to our pit crew who kept everything running smoothly and made it all happen!🔧🏁

What can an old CD, bottle caps, and popsicle sticks become? ♻️🏡✨

At Southern California Edison’s Grid Technology Development Labs, students from Huntington Beach High School transformed recycled materials into innovative Eco-Home prototypes through a hands-on STEAM challenge with Child Creativity Lab. With no instructions and no single “right” answer, students used creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving to bring sustainable ideas to life.

Through this partnership with Orange County United Way’s United for Student Success program, students explored future careers in engineering while discovering the power of hands-on learning and innovation.

At CCL, we believe big ideas can start with a small pile of recycled materials and the freedom to imagine what they can become. 💡🌎🔧

This Earth Day, our young creators are proving that imagination and sustainability go hand in hand 🌎✨

At Child Creativity Lab, kids are turning upcycled materials into meaningful, hands-on projects—learning that what we often throw away can become something entirely new with a little creativity.

Every cardboard tube, bottle cap, and scrap becomes a chance to build, invent, and reimagine a better future.

Small hands. Big ideas. A healthier planet for all of us. 💚
