Our Youth Transformation leadership team had the privilege of visiting Free Rein Foundation recently, and we are still carrying what we experienced there.

We went to learn about equine therapy. What we found was something much harder to put into words: the way horses create space for trust, emotional growth, and real human connection stopped us in our tracks. For young people who have known pain, loss, and uncertainty, that kind of presence is not just meaningful. It is healing.

The visit opened our eyes to what holistic, heart-centered care can look like, and we left with hope that one day some of our most precious youth will get to experience this for themselves.

Thank you to the Free Rein Foundation family for welcoming us and for the work you carry every single day. We see you, and we are grateful.

Sending you and the Homeboy Family love and care on this special day ❤️

Thank you for nurturing a community of kinship that reminds us we belong to one another — calling us ever closer to radical kinship, hope, and healing.

Big love to our family at Industries for the 2026 Lo Máximo Gala!

You’ve shaped a sacred space where people heal, find hope, and remember their goodness.
Project Kinship is blessed to stand with you in believing nobody is disposable and everybody deserves to be seen.

We’re proud to be part of the Homeboy Global Network and to walk alongside people who lead with compassion every single day.

Join us in celebrating Homeboy Industries and the impact they continue to have on so many lives!

We’re excited to invite you to a special one-day training with Dr. Dan Siegel.

This event is part of the Healing Institute, the training institute under Project Kinship. Together we will explore the neuroscience of healing among individuals impacted by trauma, gangs and violence.

Space is limited.

Have a blessed week everyone! 🙏

Eight weeks. Cameras in hand. Stories captured. 📸

This program gave a group of incarcerated youth the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of photography and gain hands on experience documenting the world through their own lens. What started as a simple introduction to photography became a powerful way for them to express themselves and capture moments that matter.

To close out the program, we brought the community together to showcase their work in a gallery and celebrate the creativity, growth, and perspective each of them brought to the project.

Proud of every single one of them and grateful to everyone who supported this program. This is just the beginning.ou

Arts and Healing is something we practice, not just provide.

Our staff recently gathered to paint, reflect, and create together, strengthening the same tools of expression and healing we offer to our community.

We’re especially grateful to Crystal Vasquez for her leadership in training our team and helping us carry this beautiful work forward with heart and intention.
