💙 This is what your generosity can become.

When Jesus was struggling to afford school supplies and basic necessities, Palomar College Foundation donors stepped in. That emergency grant helped him keep going, graduate from Palomar College, and transfer to CSUSM to continue his studies. 🎓

Last week, Jesus came back; not to ask for help, but to give it.

He made a donation so the next Comet facing a difficult moment knows that someone believes in them, too.

Your kindness stayed with Jesus. And now, he is passing it on.

Thank you, Jesus, for turning the generosity you received into hope for someone else. 💙☄️

Once a Comet, always a Comet!!

Last week at All Campus Day, Foundation staff Linda and Kayla welcomed our C.I.R.C.L.E. (Comets Investing in Really Changing Lives through Education) employee giving members.

It’s inspiring to see Palomar employees who dedicate their careers to our students also choose to give back through payroll deductions. Their generosity helps remove financial barriers so our students can stay in school and succeed.

Thank you for believing in our students! 💙

Welcome back to campus, Beth and D'etta✨

It was a joy to take these two Palomar College nursing alumni on a "magic" golf cart tour of campus. Having graduated in the late 1970s and early 1980s, they were amazed to see how much Palomar has grown over the years.

Their connection to Palomar extends far beyond memories. Through their generosity, Beth and D'etta have established an annual nursing scholarship to help future healthcare professionals achieve their dreams.

Thank you, Beth and D'etta, for investing in the future of Palomar College and ensuring your passion for nursing continues to change lives for years to come. 🩺💙

A legacy of passion. A future of opportunity. 🎙️

The Palomar College Foundation was honored to welcome Rechelle to campus to see her father Dick Warren's naming plaque in KKSM Production Studio C for the very first time.

During the visit, Rechelle and Zeb, who had the privilege of working alongside Dick at KKSM, shared heartfelt stories about his love of radio, engineering, and mentoring students. It was clear that Dick's passion for broadcasting and engineering, and his commitment to helping students discover their talents, left a lasting impact on everyone around him.

To carry that legacy forward, Rechelle and her sister, Renee, established the Dick Warren Memorial Scholarship, supporting students pursuing degrees in Radio Industry Broadcasting and Engineering.

Dick's passion helped inspire generations of students, and thanks to his family's generosity, that inspiration will continue for years to come.

💙 Thank you, Rechelle and Renee, for honoring Dick's remarkable legacy and investing in the next generation of broadcasters and engineers.

Thank you, Cushman Foundation, for your commitment to educational opportunity and for making a lasting impact on the lives of our student veterans and military families.

✨ Flashback to 2025...

Last year, the Palomar College Foundation's Emergency Grant Program helped students overcome financial hardships that could have ended their educational journey, giving them the opportunity to keep learning, growing, and pursuing their dreams.

Now, even in the middle of summer, students continue reaching out for help. They're still taking classes. Still balancing jobs and family responsibilities. Still determined to earn a degree despite life's unexpected challenges.

The calendar may say summer, but the need for emergency grants never takes a season off. 💙
