According to a study in Memory and Cognition it's not just that repetition works, it's that repetition spread out over time compounds. The question is whether I’m paying attention to what Jesus has been saying. Repetition leads to restoration. Repetition leads to revelation. Repetition leads to redemption. Repetition is like an anchor for the heart in the tempest of change. How many parents have said, “If I have to tell you one more time…” — and, inevitably, we will, and we do. Why?
