Bascom Community Center Bascom Community Center offers classes, programs, and events for all ages and abilities. Stop by for a tour, an activity catalog or register for a class! ft.

Bascom Community Center includes a gymnasium, fitness center, classroom and multipurpose room equipped with kitchen facilities. The Bascom Branch Library is right next door, with additional space and resources. Rentals of facility space are available. To find out more information call the front desk number at 408-794-6289. Bascom has a multitude of programs. Available are soccer

, basketball, and dance programs for youth. Power soccer and wheelchair basketball for individuals with disabilities. Fitness memberships and classes for adults. Along with drop-in programs including basketball, pickle ball, and futsal. Bascom History:
Bascom is apart of the LEED facilities in San Jose. The building is 39 percent better water efficient and 19 percent more energy efficient than required by the State Building Code. One fifth of the center and library were built with recycled materials. Bascom Library and Community Center is one more step for San José to reach its Green Vision goal to build or update 50 million sq. of green buildings by 2022. With over 100 parking spaces to choose from, stop by to get to know all that Bascom offers!

Join us for a fun in-person Scooby Boo Bash Halloween event at Bascom Community Center on Friday, October 23rd from 5 - 7:30 PM! We will have arts and crafts, haunted rooms, carnival games, photo booth and a themed Scavenger Hunt! Come dressed in your costume!
5 - 5:30 PM for family with toddlers & younger children
5:30 - 7:30 PM all ages
$5 Admission per person.
(FREE for children under 2 yrs old)
*Please register all members even if they qualify for free
