Celebrate Halloween with the San Diego Shakespeare Society and The San Diego Museum of Art present Spooky Shakespeare. Actors will present spine-chilling performances that connect to works of art from across the Museum’s collection. Enjoy scenes from works such as Richard III, Hamlet, Titus Andronicus, Romeo and Juliet, and Macbeth.

Look for the meeting point sign inside the SDMA rotunda prior to each one-hour performance.

Saturday, October 31, 1 p.m. & 2:30 p.m.

All Aboard for Trains and Treats Family Days at the San Diego Model Railroad Museum 🎃🚂

Kumeyaay history, told by Kumeyaay historians.
Located on the unceded ancestral homeland of the Kumeyaay Nation, the Museum of Us is proud to partner with the Kumeyaay Visual Storytelling Project to share Kumeyaay history and culture in this exhibit.
The greater Kumeyaay Nation encompasses many distinct communities whose members identify by different names including Kumeyaay, Kumiai, Iipay, Tipai, and Diegueño, among others.
Learn about local history and culture in this exhibit, developed by Kumeyaay scholars and historians, open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Access to this exhibit is included with museum admission and the Balboa Park Explorer Pass.

🐟🎨 Make a splash with the next Explorer Experience!

Balboa Park Explorer Annual Passholders are invited to join us Saturday, Oct. 25, at the Japanese Friendship Garden and Museum to discover Gyotaku, a traditional Japanese art form that uses fish to create detailed prints on paper! Annual Passholders will create their own print to take home at the end of the workshop. This Explorer Experience is intended for ages 6 and up.

Space for this event is very limited, and RSVPs are first-come, first-served. You must provide each Passholder's unique, individual Explorer Pass ID to RSVP, which can be found on the back of your physical Annual Pass card(s). RSVPs are required and must be submitted by Sunday, Oct. 11 at 11:59 PM.
