Student-led solution-focused programs packed with tools students can use immediately to curb bullying

Theatre of Peace is an acting troupe comprised of 35 experienced San Diego County youth actors ranging in age from 11 - 19. Our Performances and Workshops are solution-driven: packed with tools students can use immediately to deflect attempts at bullying. Workshops are custom-designed to (1) Raise awareness about various forms of bullying; (2) Awaken students to how their words and actions impact

each other; and (3) Provide targets, bystanders, followers, and aggressors tools they can use immediately to build resilience and break the cycle of negativity that is so prevalent in our schools and communities today. Theatre of Peace was founded in 2010 by Sharla Mandere and operated as a division of Spotlight Ovations Performing Arts. Since then, the Troupe has raised awareness about bullying by performing for thousands of elementary, middle, and high school students in SD County. As of June 2015, operation of Theatre of Peace transitioned to Amy Jones Anichini, Founder and President of Act Like You Matter, a California non-profit. Amy is thrilled to become the Executive Director of Theatre of Peace and continue the legacy of this ground-breaking organization.

• Ages 12 & under → 1:00 pm ET (parents & educators are also welcome!)
