The Running Industry Association was formed to provide support for the specialty running retailers channel. Each program is approved by an elected volunteer Board of Directors made up of independent running store owners.

How many times has a customer asked, "This is a great shoe… but do you have it in another color?" If you're a brand, that answer may be different than if you're a retailer. Developed by Kathy Gates, Owner of The Running Well Store, The Color Conundrum is a run specialty advocacy presentation putting the customer at the center of the dialogue around color, because at the end of the day, what is best for the customer is best for both the vendor and the retailer.

Opening Night at the 2026 RIA Summit was electric! It's been a productive, memorable week and we can't believe it's already the final evening. Let's flash back to Monday when we were just getting started! Thank you for bringing your energy for our event kickoff and Hall of Fame Induction. It set the tone for a fantastic Summit!
