The Running Industry Association was formed to provide support for the specialty running retailers channel. Each program is approved by an elected volunteer Board of Directors made up of independent running store owners.

Our final day at the Summit included an informative session led by Kathy Gates, Best In Show 1 Minute Pitches, Lightning Rounds with Essentials and Emerging Brands, and our Industry Party - running prom style! Thanks for an incredible week together in Atlanta!

Opening Night at the 2026 RIA Summit was electric! It's been a productive, memorable week and we can't believe it's already the final evening. Let's flash back to Monday when we were just getting started! Thank you for bringing your energy for our event kickoff and Hall of Fame Induction. It set the tone for a fantastic Summit!

These small group sessions are open to all RIA retailer members and will be open discussions centered around planning, marketing, and hosting successful in-store and community activations. Tuesday's session will be kicked off by Armani McDonald and Dan Keller from Charlotte Running Co and Wednesday's session by Sean McManus from Sole Sports. ASICS and Brooks reps will also be in attendance to answer any brand related questions. We'll see you soon!
