Tragic to Magic is an organization dedicated to rescue, adoption, vaccination, and spay/neuter programs. The objective is to help turn their tragic lives into magic through providing care, love, and finding forever homes for these wonderful animals. Project Nova is currently based in Rosarito, Mexico with offices in California and New York.

At just 2½ years old, Leslie has all the best parts of adulthood without any of the puppy chaos.

This beautiful girl is sweet, affectionate, and wonderfully easygoing. While other dogs are bouncing off the walls, Leslie is happy to curl up beside you, enjoy a walk, or simply be your loyal companion through everyday life.

🚨 WE ARE SO CLOSE FOR BACON! 🚨

Bacon's surgery goal is finally within reach.

Thanks to the incredible support of our community, we have raised $7,548 of our $8,000 goal — leaving just $452 to go.

This sweet puppy was born with a severe angular limb deformity that causes his front legs to curve abnormally. Without corrective surgery, the condition will continue to affect his mobility and quality of life as he grows.

The good news? His custom 3D-printed implants are being completed, and his surgery is tentatively scheduled for June 10th. The final step is making sure we have the funds needed to move forward.

🐾 PAWS UP! VOLUNTEERS NEEDED! 🐾

This Saturday, June 6th, Tragic to Magic will be hosting adoption events at three locations:

📍 Encinitas
📍 Oceanside
📍 Sports Arena

Whether you can stay for an hour or help for the entire event, every little bit makes a difference for the rescue dogs counting on us.

Volunteer opportunities include:

🐶 Walking dogs
🐶 Helping potential adopters meet dogs
🐶 Setting up and breaking down adoption events
🐶 Keeping dogs comfortable and happy throughout the day
🐶 General event support

No experience is necessary—we're happy to show you the ropes!

We especially need help with setup beginning around 10:30 AM and breakdown after the event ends at 3:00 PM.

💔 FINAL PUSH FOR BACON 💔

Bacon's custom 3D-printed implants are scheduled to be finished this Friday. If we can reach our goal, his surgery is tentatively scheduled for Wednesday, June 10th.

Time is truly of the essence.

Bacon is still a growing puppy, and every week that passes means his bones continue to change. The sooner we can move forward with surgery, the better his chances for the best possible outcome and a lifetime of pain-free adventures.

This sweet boy doesn't understand why his legs are different. He just wants to play, cuddle, make friends, and love everyone he meets.

Bacon update 💜

This sweet boy continues to steal hearts everywhere he goes. Saturday at our adoption event, Bacon spent the day raising awareness for himself — greeting people, giving kisses, making everyone laugh, and soaking up every bit of attention possible. He truly is such a ham. 🐾

Unfortunately, as Bacon grows, his front legs continue to bow more due to prematurely closed growth plates. But we are getting closer to surgery.

We officially placed the deposit for his custom 3D implants, and his orthopedic team has now scheduled one final CT scan for May 19th to ensure everything is exact before printing begins. Thankfully, they are waiving the fee for the second scan due to the complexity of his case and the time it took coordinating his specialty team.

If all goes as planned, surgery is expected in early June followed by physical therapy and rehabilitation.

And thanks to all of YOU… Bacon’s fundraiser is now at **$5,451 raised toward his $8,000 goal** — only **$2,549 to go!** 🎉

We are over halfway there, and it’s starting to feel real.
