Huge thank you to all the officers that donated their time to participate in the Horton Elementary Box with a Cop community event!

We had officers from SDPD, SDSO, US Border Patrol, CBP, HSI, El Cajon PD, CHP, SDSU PD, San Diego Unified PD, Fugitive Recovery, and recent Palomar College Police Academy graduates representing! 🇺🇸🚔

The fifth Box with a Cop community event was a success!!! Thank you to all the 4th graders at Horton Elementary for participating! More videos and pictures to come! 💫

The event consisted of the 4th grade class participating in boxing drills and physical fitness exercises with the police officers. After the boxing drills, the officers all sat down with the children and enjoyed lunch where the kids got to ask the officers questions.

We want to thank all the officers that donated their time to participate in this event. We had officers from SDPD, SDSO, US Border Patrol, CBP, HSI, El Cajon PD, CHP, SDSU PD, San Diego Unified PD, and Fugitive Recovery representing! 🇺🇸🚔

Also big thank you to Horton Elementary school principal for all your hard work helping organize and making sure the event runs smooth!!

🚨SAVE THE DATE!!🚨The next community event on December 17th will be our first Christmas edition of Box with a Cop! 🥊👮🏻‍♀️👮🏽‍♂️

Law enforcement volunteers needed for a rewarding opportunity to mentor 60 4th grade youth at Horton Elementary school. Federal, State or local are all welcome! 🚔

You may not know that Horton Elementary is San Diego Unified School District’s number one Title 1 ranked school in the district; 99% of the students qualify for free lunch and breakfast and have a 42% population of homeless/foster youth (officially categorized as Youth in Transition, under the federal McKinney Vento Act).

Volunteers at our Wednesday, December 17th Box with a Cop event well help teach boxing drills and techniques alongside our volunteer boxing coaches. No boxing experience needed for the LEOs who are able to volunteer.

Law enforcement volunteers will be provided a t-shirt and lunch. Please RSVP and reach out with any questions to [email protected]

The fourth Box with a Cop community event was a success!!! Thank you to all the 4th graders at Horton Elementary for participating! More videos and pictures to come! 💫

The event consisted of the 4th grade class participating in boxing drills and physical fitness exercises with the police officers. After the boxing drills, the officers all sat down with the children and enjoyed lunch where they got to ask the officers questions. The officers then surprised the children with goodie bags filled with multiple gifts! 🥊

First and foremost we want to thank all the officers that donated their time to participate in this event. We had officers from SDPD, SDSO, US Border Patrol, and El Cajon PD, CHP, SDSU PD, San Diego Unified PD, and US Navy representing! 🇺🇸🚔
