For 10 years, Medicare rules have forced wheelchair users to pay the full cost of a carbon fiber or titanium frame out of pocket.

But on July 20, the House passed a fix.

The Choices for Increased Mobility Act (H.R. 1703/S. 247) requires Medicare to create billing codes so you pay only the difference for an ultralight frame. It costs taxpayers nothing.

The bill moved because of advocates like you, who put it in front of their representatives at this year’s Roll on Capitol Hill.

We're halfway there. The Senate is next, and Sens. Marsha Blackburn (R) and Tammy Duckworth (D) are already sponsoring it. Your Senators need to hear from you today.

This is a very proud moment for HSA.

2° grande evento "Nuoto Senza Frontiere" sul Lago del Segrino, organizzato dal comitato composto da Centro Polispecialistico Riabilitativo San Fedele, Cuffie Colorate, Nuoto Senza Frontiere.

Prevista anche per questa edizione un'ampia partecipazione di persone con e senza disabilità. Tutti insieme in acqua per un'imponente e bella nuotata nel segno della massima inclusione.

Prezioso il contributo dei subacquei del training facility HSA, NRDC-ITA Scuba Divers per la preparazione del percorso acquatico dove verrà effettuata la manifestazione.

Quest'anno lo straordinario evento è dedicato alla memoria del caro amico e formatore HSA Pierluigi Ner.

Un grande plauso a tutti gli organizzatori, a partire da Jean-François Ruffino (direttore tecnico e operativo) e Luca Morelli (direttore della formazione, medico specializzato in medicina subacquea, iperbarica e del nuoto, nonché ricercatore nell'ambito dei benefici delle attività subacquee) di Nuoto Senza Frontiere, da tempo impegnati anche nella formazione HSA per la diffusione della cultura dell'accoglienza e dell'accessibilità negli scenari diving e acquatici.
