The masks were beautiful, but the real purpose of the evening was to lift them.

At our annual gala, themed a Masquerade Ball, we gathered to shine a light on the struggles that often go unseen in our community and to support neighbors facing food insecurity, housing instability, and other hardships.

Because of the incredible generosity of our supporters, sponsors, donors, volunteers, staff, Board of Directors, gala committee, and community partners, we raised more than $300,000 to help local families find hope, stability, and a path forward.

We were honored to recognize Charles Antis of Antis Roofing & Waterproofing, whose compassion and generosity have made a lasting impact on the families we serve. Through his support, including the donation of new roofs for both of FAM's shelters, Charles has helped provide safety, dignity, and hope to those rebuilding their lives.

A special thank you to our Gala Chair and FAM Board Vice Chair, Autumn McAlpin, whose leadership and dedication helped make this unforgettable evening possible.
Together, we lifted the mask on need in our community—and together, we are changing lives.

The masks came off. The community showed up. And because of you, hope won.

Most of us are carrying something we don’t talk about.

The parent calculating which bills to pay.
The mom quietly eating less so her children don’t have to.
The neighbor who smiles, even when they’re not okay.

For many in our community, that weight isn’t temporary—it’s simply Thursday.

On May 30, we invite you to FAM’s Masquerade Gala at Bella Collina San Clemente—an evening that goes far beyond elegant masks and celebration.

Because while a masquerade is where masks come on… this night is about taking them off.

Together, we’ll gather for a meaningful evening of dinner, drinks, and dancing, experience the excitement of our live and silent auctions, and hear a powerful story from a client whose life was transformed through FAM’s support.

Every moment of the evening is rooted in purpose—ensuring no one in our community has to carry their burden alone.

Seating is limited, and we would love to have you in the room.

We did it ❤️

Because of this incredible community, we officially reached our Help Them Home goal—and we are so grateful.

Your generosity is already making a difference for families across Orange County who are working toward stability and a fresh start.
Thank you to everyone who gave, shared, and supported this campaign. You showed what is possible when people come together with compassion and purpose.

A special thank you to our matching gift donors, Tom and Grace Lieblein and Arlon Enmeier & Florine Enmeier, San Clemente Wealth Management, for helping make this impact possible.

While we’ve reached our goal, the need doesn’t stop here.
The giving portal is still open until 12 PM today. If you’ve been meaning to give, there’s still time to be part of this moment.

Every dollar continues to make a difference.
