❤️🚒 NOT ALL HEROES WEAR CAPES… SOME WEAR FIREFIGHTING GEAR! 👩‍🚒❤️

Today, I hiked up into the mountains between San Clemente and San Juan Capistrano, where the devastating Norte Fire burned over the weekend. Seeing the aftermath firsthand was heartbreaking, but what made this hike so special was meeting one of my NEW HEROES… FIREFIGHTER JESSICA! ❤️

Jessica has been a firefighter for four years, and get this… she is ONE woman among 200 firefighters on her team! 💪🔥

WOW!!! Talk about a strong, courageous, hardworking woman!

Even after a long weekend of battling fires, Jessica was so incredibly kind, taking a moment to talk with me while continuing to work hard to protect our community.

Jessica, I hope you know how AMAZING you are! 🥹❤️

From one sister to another… I AM SO PROUD OF YOU! 💕 You are an inspiration to women everywhere, showing us what strength, courage, dedication, and a heart for serving others truly look like!

And to ALL the firefighters who have worked tirelessly through these devastating fires… THANK YOU! 🙏❤️

Thank you for the sacrifices you make, the lives you protect, and the homes and memories you save. We may never fully understand everything you face, but please know YOU ARE APPRECIATED more than words can express!

How do you begin to thank someone for saving a home filled with a lifetime of memories? 🥹❤️

This past week, a blazing fire came within just yards of my daughter-in-law’s family home. A home she has known and loved her entire life. A home filled with childhood memories, family traditions, laughter, love, and so many beautiful moments.

And now, a home that holds so many precious memories for our family, too. ❤️

As you look through these photos, you’ll see more than just a house. You’ll see Thanksgiving dinners, bridal showers, family celebrations, and countless moments that have become treasured memories in our hearts. ❤️

To the incredible Orange County firefighters and ALL the brave firefighters who worked tirelessly to stop this fire from taking this home… THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF OUR HEARTS! 🚒❤️

You didn’t just save walls and a roof. You saved a place where generations of love and memories have been made, and where so many more will now be created. 🥹❤️

We are forever grateful for your courage, your dedication, your sacrifices, and the work you do EVERY SINGLE DAY to protect our families, our homes, and our communities.

And above all, THANK YOU, LORD! 🙏❤️ Thank You for watching over this home, for protecting those in harm’s way, and for blessing these incredible men and women with the courage, skills, and resources to do what they do.

We know not every family is as fortunate, and our hearts and prayers are with everyone who has experienced loss from these devastating fires. 🙏

To our firefighters… you are TRUE HEROES, and we will NEVER forget what you did for our family. ❤️🚒

Drink coffee.
Take walks.
Go to church.

Take care of your body.

Love the life in front of you.
Cuddle with dogs.
Show up for the people you love.
Read your Bible.
