What an incredible honor to be featured by Heather Jordan on KNX News Radio 1070 AM as their Hero of the Week.

Sharing the story of OC Sober Gals and the mission behind this organization was truly meaningful. What started as a simple idea to help women build friendships and connection beyond the bar has grown into a beautiful community, and I am so grateful for every woman who has been part of this journey.

Heather is an absolute gem, and I am incredibly thankful for the opportunity to speak with her and share our story. Her kindness, professionalism, and genuine interest in highlighting community impact made this experience even more special.

My heart is full of gratitude for everyone who has supported OC Sober Gals along the way. I cannot wait to see how this organization continues to grow, create meaningful connections, and make a difference in the lives of women throughout our community. This is only the beginning.

This month, we're celebrating someone who embodies what OC Sober Gals is all about—connection, kindness, and community. Melisa has been such a wonderful supporter of our organization, from generously donating to our Ghouls Night Out raffle to joining us for adventures like The Carlsbad Flower Fields and so many events in between. She always shows up with a smile, a positive attitude, and a genuine interest in getting to know others.

Melisa has a vibrant spirit, a heart for giving back, and a way of making those around her feel welcomed and valued. She is the kind of woman we're always excited to see at an event, and we're so grateful to have her as part of our group. Thank you, Melisa, for your support, your generosity, and for helping make OC Sober Gals such a great community. 💕

Together, we give back 💗

Because of our incredible community, we were able to donate brand new AA literature and “One Day at a Time” bracelets to the women at The Lynn House.

Every event attended, every donation made, every ounce of support, it all adds up to something bigger than us.
