Name: Cooper
Breed: pit mix (mixed with something large and thick fur)
Gender: male
Age: born July 2, 2024
Weight: 90 lbs
Fully vetted including neuter
Cooper is the largest of his siblings. He is a typical adult puppy but unfortunately has not had any training as far as house training or crate training because I have had him since birth. He is doing well walking on a leash. Very handsome and sweet boy who wants to learn. Cooper does not have a typical big pit head or thin fur so it would be very interesting to find out exactly what breeds are in him. Cooper is a complete water dog and kind of looks like some sort of hound mix.

ADOPTED 🫶

Oliver
Breed: lab/pit mix
Gender: male
Age: 2
Weight: 51 lbs

Oliver came into the rescue along with his brother, Milo. He is a typical young adult dog but has not had any training as far as house training or crate training. He is doing well walking on a leash. He is a very handsome and sweet boy who wants to learn. Oliver has enjoyed getting in the pools in this hot Texas weather. He gets along really well with a female kennel mate who is about the same age. Oliver is very smart and would benefit from a basic training course. He has learned the routine and can jump over the 4 foot fence, but he doesn’t try to run off.

Emma
American Pitbull terrier
Age: approximately 2 year
Weight: 49 lbs
Gender: female
Good with
- Kids: yes
- Cats: unknown (can test but most likely Emma will not do well with cats)
- Small dogs: can test
- Large dogs: yes
Crate trained: no
Leash trained: doing well learning; likes to just follow me around
House broken: not sure; possibly some training was done in her previous home
Escape artist: easily leaps over a 4 ft fence
Food aggressive: no
Rides in car well: yes
Fun traits: Emma is a typical active and happy dog. She loves playing and seems to have adjusted very well to being in a kennel with a bigger male dog. She has the cutest ears that seem to do whatever they want, and she is just the total package. She would benefit from a basic training course because she has a lot of energy. She needs to go for walks and get some of her energy worked out.

Jake
American Pitbull terrier
Age: 3 years old
Weight: 75 lbs
Gender: Male
Good with
- Kids: needs to be taught not to jump up
- Cats: no
- Small dogs: can test
- Large dogs: yes but needs slow introductions; better with females but can get along with males as well
Crate trained: he would do fine in a crate for short time periods
Potty trained: no (he came into the rescue as a puppy, but he is extremely smart and learns routines fast)
Fun traits: Jake is such a sweet cuddle bug. He likes a lot of attention. He is very treat and food motivated. He will not want to share his food or treats because he was starving when rescued so he needs fed alone. He has a lot of energy and would benefit from a training course. He is smart and listens and learns fast. He wants to get to the yard fast so I let him run, but he will stop at the gate and wait for me to catch up and take his leash off. He does the same going back to his kennel, runs straight to kennel and waits at the gate. So smart. He also loves playing in the pools.
