The medical supply closet lease for AccessAbility First Foundation is ending this month, so it's time to renew our lease, which is leading us to a different unit... but first,
Let's reflect back on 2024 with a fun graphic and stats:
👉87 requests filled
👉326 people positively impacted
👉1,817 items, estimated to be valued at over $21,000 went to those in need ... 100% FREE of charge to them!
AND we launched a second closet in Greenville, TX! ✨
All because December of 2023, some very generous members of our community -- near and far, took a moment to sponsor one or more months of the medical supply closet.
Now, it's time to make the ask for 12 more donors to sponsor a month of the medical supply closet for 2025 ...
for just $175, you can make a huge impact in our community AND we will put your logo/name on our medical supply closet page so that everyone who requests and item can see who is helping to make this happen! 🫵

At AccessAbility First Foundation, we’re committed to raising awareness and supporting children with various disabilities. Here’s a quick overview of some common types seen in children:

💙 Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD): A developmental disability affecting social communication and interaction. Children with ASD may engage in repetitive behaviors, resist routine changes, and have unique sensory responses.

💙 Intellectual Disability: Reduced intellectual functioning and adaptive behavior challenges, impacting a child's ability to thrive in general education.

💙 Developmental Delay: Children aged 3-8 experiencing delays in areas like physical, cognitive, or social development.

💙 Serious Emotional Disability (SED): Emotional or social functioning difficulties that affect learning. Support may include social skills training, emotional regulation, and behavioral interventions.

btw, if you are decluttering this new year and have any new or gently used medical items (shower chairs, walkers, wheelchairs, etc.) please let us know!

The Supply Closet Program provides medical supplies and equipment free of charge to those in need.

If you do not live within 30 miles of San Angelo or Greenville, we can ship items that fit in a priority box. We cannot ship larger items such as wheelchairs, walkers, etc.

The Closet Program is dependent on donations of new medical supplies, gently used equipment, and monetary donations to cover storage unit fees.
Closet inventory changes daily.
