e come together to learn and share information. We are a non-profit that exists to help educate the public by creating places where the public, and private sector can learn about this technology. We host the largest gathering of electric vehicles in the Midwest annually in June. This event along with several other regional events focuses on getting the public in touch with owners and in the seats of electric-powered vehicles from local dealers to help them navigate this change in the automotive business. In addition, we assist local businesses and municipalities to understand the implications, costs and procedures involved in installing public electric charging infrastructure and supporting private EVSE installations.

I am super impressed with this guy. His name is Dave Hodges, and he just traded in his 2017 Chevy Bolt EV with 414,000 miles. This was a celebratory pic taken back in September. In his words: "I’ve owned many cars - nothing came close as far as reliability and no maintenance. The oil in the drive unit was original and it also had original brakes. Only thing ever changed were the front headlight bulbs at 280,000 and of course tires.”
