Drumroll please……..initial Buddy Walk numbers are in and we had almost 600 walkers and have raised just over $60,000!!

Thank you to everyone who came out to enjoy the beautiful day and to support all our loved ones with Down syndrome!!

IT’S BUDDY WALK TIME!!

Here’s everything you need to know:

The walk is being held this Sunday at Gallup Park – 3000 Fuller Rd, Ann Arbor. Check-in for pre-registered walkers will begin at 1:30pm at the pavilion near the Children’s playground (for anyone not registered, you may also register for the walk at the pavilion as well). Please park at Huron High School (see map below) and take the continuously running shuttles over to the park as there is very limited parking in the park itself. Once you pick-up your bag and t-shirts, you’re welcome to enjoy the music by Leonardo, children’s activities, and our Silent Auction and Raffle. Popcorn and Cotton Candy will also be available!

The walk will begin around 3-3:30 and is a one-mile, stroller friendly path through the park. The walk will be followed by pizza, drinks & sweets as well as more music & activities. The drawing of the Raffle baskets, the 50/50 drawing, a special drawing for two Shinola watches, and our Silent Auction closing will take place at ~4:30pm. Please note that you must be present to win any of the drawings or Silent Auction items. We will take cash, checks and credit cards for all transactions at the walk. Shuttles will be running continuously to take you back to the parking lot at the high school at your convenience.

It’s Buddy Walk time!!! Registration is now open for this year’s walk!
