Our 2025 Annual Report tells a story bigger than financial numbers. It shows what equitable access to capital, knowledge and opportunity can accomplish:

· 45 loans totaling more than $3.5 million

· 167 jobs created and 267 retained

· 35 workshops reaching 292 participants

· More than $1.7 million deployed through the Minnesota Inclusive Growth Fund

· 15 Latino Scholarship Fund recipients awarded scholarships of up to $5,000

These results belong to the families, students, business owners, staff, board members, funders and partners who make this work possible.

LEDC Executive Director Alma Flores took part last week in the Consular Entrepreneurship Program for Mexican Women Abroad, an initiative of the Consulate of Mexico in St. Paul that empowers and champions Mexican women entrepreneurs and their talents. 🇲🇽💼

This program included a pitch competition in which local community and business leaders judged women entrepreneurs seeking to learn how to start businesses focused on healthy cleaning, baking, novelties, property management and more. 🎤✨ Congratulations to all the participants! 👏

LEDC looks forward to partnering with these women to help them turn their vision into reality and grow their businesses. 🚀💚

Big things are happening at LEDC!
In her August update, Executive Director Alma Flores highlights how our team is helping small business owners and entrepreneurs turn ideas into growth. Read her latest message:

🌱 This summer has brought many signs of progress at LEDC. We’ve celebrated the achievements of young leaders, strengthened partnerships and continued preparing for a milestone our community has anticipated.

🎓 In July, we recognized 13 remarkable students whose hard work, perseverance and leadership earned them scholarships from the Latino Scholarship Fund.
