music heals 🎶
Posted • Everyone has different opinions of the benefits of music. Some that we found to be true is the following;
- Music elevates mood by boosting the brain's production of dopamine.
- It reduces stress.
- Music can help "pick you up" much like exercise which reduces the symptoms of depression.
- Music eases pain by reducing the perceived intensity of pain, especially in geriatric care, intensive care or palliative medicine.
- It increases workout endurance. It sort of takes you away from counting the clock.
