A duka is more than a shop — it’s a lifeline.

For many women in the communities we serve, small roadside businesses provide daily income, food security, and a way to care for their families with dignity. Through World Encounter’s microloan program, women gain the support they need to stock their shelves, serve their neighbors, and build something of their own.

Small businesses. Real stability. Lasting impact.

In the villages we serve, farming isn’t just work — it’s legacy. 🌱

With support from World Encounter’s microloan program, women gain the resources and confidence to grow their fields, strengthen their harvests, and provide greater stability for their families.

Step by step, season by season, they’re cultivating more than crops — they’re cultivating futures.

It’s GivingTuesday — a global day of generosity and a chance to change the trajectory of a woman’s life. 💜

When you support World Encounter, you’re not just giving a donation.
You’re giving a woman the chance to start a business.
You’re giving her family greater stability.
You’re giving her community a source of strength and possibility.

For over 30 years, our microloan program has helped women turn their ideas into income and their challenges into opportunities. And today, you can be part of that impact.

Join us in investing in women who are building brighter futures — one small loan, one bold step, one generation at a time.
