On Tuesday, June 2, Urban Growler Brewing Company will celebrate Ann Bancroft as its 2026 PRIDE Icon.

Stop by from 5-7 p.m. to meet Ann, hear stories from her remarkable journey as a polar explorer, educator, philanthropist, and trailblazer, and be among the first to try Polar Haze, a limited-release IPA brewed in her honor.

And yes, Ann will be behind the bar pouring beers and visiting with guests throughout the evening!

Trailblazer Fellow Keena Dietz is taking her dreams around the world!

With support from the Ann Bancroft Foundation, Keena attended Interlochen Arts Academy, graduating with High Honors and top awards for her artistry. She is now studying Theatre Arts at Boston University.

This summer, Keena will travel to England to work with the York Shakespeare Company, with performances in Romania, before continuing on to Prague to study with the Prague Shakespeare Company.

We are so proud of Keena and all she continues to pursue. Her journey is a powerful reminder of what can happen when girl+ youth are encouraged to dream boldly and follow their passions.

On April 23, our community gathered at The Depot to celebrate courage, connection, and the power of dreams!

Because of you, the 2026 Ann Bancroft Foundation Annual Celebration raised more than $600,000 to support girl+ youth as they dream boldly and pursue their futures with confidence.

From inspiring stories and joyful moments to unforgettable performances and powerful reminders of what’s possible, the energy in the room was incredible.

Trailblazer Fellows receive up to $2,500 to pursue their bold dreams, while building confidence, connecting with mentors, and joining a community of changemakers.

Trailblazer Fellow Ashley Akoussan is one of those changemakers. Her bold dream is to become a cardiothoracic surgeon who champions equity in health care.

“I want to close the cultural bias and racism gaps in the medical field. I want to become an ally and expert who can help African Americans who are struggling to receive the right treatment and diagnoses.”

We’re still carrying last Thursday night with us!

If you joined us that evening, know that you made The Depot beautiful with your presence, your energy, and your stories.

All of us at the Ann Bancroft Foundation were deeply moved. It means so much to see a community that returns year after year, and to welcome new faces into the room.

Sienna Dhariwal is building more than a business. She’s building change.

As a Trailblazer Fellow, Sienna used her grant to expand her swimsuit line, Bikini Blend, which is grounded in sustainability, gender equity, and body positivity.

Said Sienna: “Joining the Trailblazer Fellow Cohort has been such a fantastic experience! I have grown my network, learned such valuable lessons ranging from mindfulness to financial saving, and cultivated such meaningful friendships with individuals who live all over the country.”
