Thank you to St. Marys Memorial High School Principal and fellow Rotarian, Jason Johnson, for bringing 10 high school seniors to our weekly meeting today to give us a fall sports update. What an outstanding group of young adults!!

Senior Student Athletes visited the St. Marys Rotary Club and presented to the Rotarians about their respective fall sport.

Did you know that right here in St. Marys, we have a nearly 50 acre camp and retreat center that includes an auditorium that seats 900, meeting areas that can accommodate up to 350, lodging options for over 300, disc golf, RV park with full hook up, gymnasium with regulation basketball & volleyball courts, an outdoor pool, and food services??!!

🏆 Galen Cisco Award Presentation ⚾

The St. Marys Rotary Club was honored to recognize Brody Cramer, a member of the St. Marys Little League Pirates team, as the recipient of the 2026 Galen Cisco Award.

Adding to the special occasion, the award was personally presented by Galen Cisco, whose lifelong contributions to baseball continue to inspire young athletes throughout our community.

Rotarians also enjoyed a visit from special guest Brad Komminsk, former MLB outfielder, who joined us for the meeting.

Congratulations, Brody, on this well-deserved honor! We wish you continued success both on and off the field.

👨🏼‍🏫 Last week we enjoyed hearing from St. Marys City Schools Superintendent (and fellow Rotarian), Bill Ruane, who gave us an update on the school district.

🌊 We presented a $2500 donation to Lake Improvement Association President, Brian Morris, to aid in the installation of the All Abilities Park planned to be built on the east bank of Grand Lake St. Marys.

💰 We awarded two candidates $1,000 each from the Barton Fund. A potential recipient must be one who majors in the nursing/medical field. Scholarship recipients were Ms. Morgan Henschen (pictured), who is in her senior year of Dental School at OSU, and Ms. Kiley Tennant, a first-year medical student at Wright State Boonshoft School of Medicine.

Yesterday, we heard from Sylvia Roop of SAFY.
