Marys Area Chamber of Commerce is a partnership of business and professional people working together to build a healthy local economy and improve the quality of life in the St. Marys area by sponsoring and leading programs or efforts aimed at expanding and strengthening the area's economic base, increasing job opportunities, and providing a medium through which both the agricultural and commercial

communities can unite to optimize the area business climate. Marys Area Chamber of Commerce is open to all individuals, businesses, and organizations in the city of St. Marys and surrounding communities. Active members are all individuals and firms who would like to be a part of the St. Marys Area Chamber of Commerce and invest in our organization via membership. Associate Memberships may be granted to any civic-minded individual or not for profit organization who desires membership in the St. Marys Area Chamber of Commerce and invests in our organization as an associate member.

Congratulations to this year’s Chamber/SummerFest scholarship winners! Reece Long, Thomas Bills and Ava Klosterman. We wish you the best of luck in all your future endeavors!

The St. Marys Area St Marys Area Chamber of Commerce awards a scholarship each year in memory of Dave Masonbrink and Jersey Poff. Both individuals contributed to the St Marys Community through volunteerism. Dave Masonbrink for his 40+ years of service to the St Marys SummerFest committee. The scholarship is also in remembrance of Jersey Poff who was the Little Miss SummerFest in 2019. This scholarship is for a graduating MHS senior or current college student who plan to attend an accredited college and/or trade or technical school program. The scholarship criteria will be based on grades, activities, jobs, with a heavy emphasis on community service. Angie Tangeman, Executive Director of the SM Chamber of Commerce, presented a $1,000 scholarship to 2026 MHS graduate, Reece Long, and a $500 scholarship to 2026 MHS graduate Ava Klosterman and 2023 graduate Thomas Bills.
