Justin Lawler is an Ohio-based artist whose work is inspired by western culture, photography, skateboarding, desert landscapes, and the craftsmanship of hardscape construction. Working with both new and reclaimed materials, he creates pieces that reflect a respect for history, storytelling, and the beauty found in weathered textures. ✨Artist Spotlight✨
Tony Beckman is a retiree from Minster, Ohio. He has been carving and sculpting wood for over 36 years. He started out carving simple things from other people's drawings, but quickly found more satisfaction in designing and carving his own ideas and designs. He finds inspiration from what he sees around him everyday. Sometimes its a matter of finding what's already in the wood, whether it's a person's face, an animal, or something he dreams up. Stop by to see these stunning pieces in person!

Summer is in full swing here at the St. Marys Art Center! Today marks the final day of our Session 1 classes and we loved seeing all the creative and 'sweet' projects the kids made! 🧁🍰
