Mark your calendar for our October Movie Matinee! 🎬 Silver & Gold will gather on Tuesday, October 27 at 1:30 PM in the downstairs theater at East Hills Library for an afternoon movie together.

Popcorn will be provided, and you’re welcome to bring your favorite drink or snack to enjoy during the show.

We hope you’ll join us for a relaxing afternoon, friendly faces, and a little movie theater fun!

Such a fun filled day at Silver & Gold today. John Joe Insurance was our Presenting Partner for October. Todd Joe let everyone know about some important changes Medicare will have in 2027. Lt Jason Cross from Missouri State Highway Patrol, Troop H thanked members for their contributions to the Bava Toy Drive. Suzanne Lehr spoke about her second book supporting Mt Mora. Such interesting historical stories she shared. Then when fished with the costume contest.

Each gathering gives members a chance to learn something helpful, enjoy a good meal, hear great entertainment, and spend time with familiar faces.

Some caregivers leave a mark on your heart. ❤️ They’re the ones who sit a little longer, listen a little closer, remember the small things, and make someone feel cared for on a difficult day. Through The Compassion Point, we’re helping recognize those special caregivers who bring comfort, kindness, and patience to others.

Get ready for a Halloween celebration filled with a little fun, a little fright, and plenty of good food!
The team from John Joe Insurance will be joining us to share important information and answer your questions about this year’s Open Enrollment.
Halloween wouldn’t be complete without a little dressing up! Come in the spirit of the season for our Halloween Costume Contest — the more creative, the better!
Chaun’s Catering and his goblins will be cooking up a spooky spread:
• Creepy Goulash, Witches’ Teeth (corn), Mummy Mix 5 cup Fruit Salad
• R.I.P. Rolls — Rest in Peace!
• Pumpkin Patch Cupcakes with cream cheese frosting
“ Bone Appétit!”

We will be collecting toys for the once again this year for the Bava Toy Drive for Troop H of the Missouri Highway Patrol. Stuffed animals w/o hard eyes, barbies, hot wheels, Legos & color books are a few examples. (no Guns, nerf guns or toy weapons)
We hope you’ll join us for a Halloween afternoon with good food, good friends and plenty of fun!
