Meet our directors!

Coach Klaranda, director, has been skating for 26 years and is a national and international medalist. She loves the spring show and how everyone’s artistic performance gets to shine! This year, Klaranda was selected to be a part of the U.S. All-Stars Synchronized Skating Team to represent the USA in Oberstdorf, Germany. Outside of the rink, Coach Klaranda reading, traveling, and having new experiences.

Coach Debbie, co-director, has been skating since she was a Brownie! She competed for 14 years at every level of the Southwestern Regional Championships, except juvenile. She also competed at the National Colligate Championships. She has been part of St. Joseph Figure Skating Club’s annual spring shows since the early 1980s and is also part of the SJFSC’s Board.

Meet Jenna at the Saint Joseph Figure Skating Club’s Annual Spring Show production: Cinderella on Ice!

Jenna plays Ella during Cinderella. Jenna has been skating for 14 years and loves to preform spins on the ice! She holds a gold medal in her skating skills and hopes to land consistent double jumps in the future. Jenna is a graduating high school senior this year and has been doing spring shows for the last 13 years! Additionally, she has been a member of the Griffon Gliders Synchronized Skating Team for the last 9 years. When she’s not at the rink, she enjoys caring for her pets.

Meet Jacqueline at the Saint Joseph Figure Skating Club’s Annual Spring Show production: Cinderella on Ice!

Jacqueline plays Topher, the prince, during Cinderella. Jacqueline has been skating for 10 years and loves to land her axel. She enjoys skating with her friends and hopes to land consistent double jumps in the future. Jacqueline’s favorite part of the spring show are the funny practices. She is also a member of the Griffon Gliders Synchronized Skating Team and is a graduating high school senior this year. Outside of the rink, Jacqueline enjoys reading and line dancing.

Evelyn plays Marie, the Fairy Godmother, during Cinderella. Evelyn has been skating for 8 years. She enjoys performing on the ice and entertaining the crowds. Her favorite skating move is the hydroblade, her next goal is to nail her split jump. When she’s not figure skating, you can find her playing hockey.
