This year, the kids at Elevate Dance Center and the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Minnesota have been working hard on their performances, and we can't wait to see them take the stage! We are deeply grateful to United Way of Central Minnesota and the Initiative Foundation for their partnership and support in fully funding expenses incurred during our emergency child care response following the Westwood Elementary fire.
Their support helped ensure that Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Minnesota could provide free emergency care for Westwood students and families during a time of immediate uncertainty.
We also want to recognize our KIDSTOP and Club staff, who responded with speed, flexibility, and compassion.
From April 1 through April 10, our Roosevelt Boys & Girls Club provided eight full days of emergency care at no cost to families, registering 94 youth and providing 2,312 hours of supervised care and support.
Thank you to Stefanie Rothstein from United Way of Central Minnesota, Amy Trombley from Initiative Foundation, and our dedicated Boys & Girls Club team for helping make this response possible.

Behind every great future is a community that shows up.

Through Partners for the Future, our individual and corporate partners help Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Minnesota empower youth with safe spaces, caring mentors, life-changing programs and opportunities to reach their full potential.

Because of this support, our Clubs are able to serve 4,779 registered members across 20 locations, provide 91,426 meals and help create meaningful connections, with 93% of Club members saying Club staff care about them.
