Recovery RX and Gringos Tacos are teaming up for a FREE, family-friendly Halloween night in St. Augustine!

Bring the kids, dress up in your favorite costumes, and join us for an evening of fun, community, and recovery-friendly vibes.

GOD CAN TURN YOUR STORY INTO A TESTIMONY OF HOPE.

Before Chad knew Jesus, he searched for purpose in work, achievements, and accomplishments. But beneath it all, he was struggling. After years of trying to change on his own, he reached a breaking point and even made plans to take his own life.

Then he decided to try one more time. Chad shares that if he hadn’t met Jesus, he believes he would be dead today. As he pursued recovery and a relationship with Christ, everything began to change. That became a transformation that would change their lives forever.

When they were working to open their first sober living home, a couple stepped in to help them get started. Later, when that couple forgave their loan, coupled with an unexplainable coincidence- other than it came from God- Meredith broke down in tears, saying, “You are real. You are real.”

Today, Chad and Meredith’s story is a powerful reminder that God can meet us in our darkest moments and bring purpose from our pain.

Through Recovery RX and Comeback Recovery Homes, they now help men and women struggling with substance use find support, pursue recovery, and build a foundation for a new life. What once felt hopeless became a mission to help others find hope.

As Chad puts it, “God chose to use a terrible person for something really good.” We are not useful to God until we have been broken. He has always taken what has been broken, blesses it, and multiplies it.

And Meredith reminds us of the peace that comes from knowing Jesus, and knowing that everything happens for a reason- His purpose. It helps her to know that at times of uncertainty and pain. He’s doing work behind the scenes to make something even greater. Jesus didn’t come to make our lives better. He came to give us a whole NEW life.

Recovery is possible. Redemption is real. And no story is beyond the reach of God’s grace.

We’re grateful to be part of a mission that reminds people they are not defined by their past and that a new chapter is possible.

Comeback Recovery Homes currently has open beds in our FARR-certified women’s recovery residence in St. Augustine, FL.

Our women’s home provides a structured, supportive environment grounded in God’s grace, where women can find stability, rebuild confidence, strengthen their mental and physical well-being, and continue growing in long-term sobriety alongside a community that understands the journey firsthand.

Through peer support, accountability, structured routines, wellness resources with Recovery RX Corp , workshops, life-skills development, and recovery programming and meetings, we help women build a strong foundation for lasting recovery and a healthier, more stable future.

Recovery is about more than getting sober. It’s about finding hope, discovering purpose, and building a life rooted in faith, growth, and community.
