Before you vote on Amendment 3, ask one important question: What's the plan to fund our emergency services?

Amendment 3 allows local governments to fund public safety with remaining tax revenues, but it doesn't ensure money will be there to fund public safety services.

When there's less money to go around, cuts have to come from somewhere.

Public safety deserves more than permission. It deserves a plan.

Vote NO on Amendment 3.

Being first on a list doesn't mean being first in line for funding.

Amendment 3 allows funding for public safety. It doesn't guarantee it.

No guaranteed funding. No clear plan. Real consequences.

Vote NO on Amendment 3.

When someone you love calls 911, every second matters.

Fast emergency response takes trained firefighters, proper equipment, and reliable funding.

Floridians need to know how those services will be funded before we change our Constitution.

Protect public safety. Vote NO on Amendment 3.

Florida Senate President Ben Albritton has consistently demonstrated strong support for law enforcement and the men and women who work every day to keep Florida’s communities safe. A fourth-generation farmer born and raised in Florida’s Heartland, President Albritton brings a firsthand understanding of the needs, challenges, and values of rural Florida and has made supporting those communities a priority. The Florida Sheriff Association is sharing the attached statement from the current President of the Florida Senate Ben Albritton regarding his opinion on Amendment 3.

You can be FOR property tax relief and AGAINST Amendment 3. Florida's firefighters support responsible tax reform but Amendment 3 would make permanent changes to how our communities are funded without a reliable plan to sustain the emergency services Floridians count on every day. We shouldn't have to choose between the two.

Vote NO on Amendment 3.
