Thanks to our meal sponsor WEX for their support and having a team to help serve our guests last night! Special thanks to KofC 12941 for cooking up a delicious ham tetrazinni meal and for our prep team volunteers that prepared salad and pudding for the meal. Always so grateful for all the volunteers that help setup, serve, and cleanup each week! Over 150 meals were served!

Thank you to Lighthouse Credit Union for continuing to support our program and helping to address food insecurity throughout our community! Britney Dennison, Branch Manager - Kennebunk, stopped by this week with over 85 lbs of donated food collected last month as part of their Protein for Pantries Food Drive. Big thanks to Atlantic Federal Credit Union for sponsoring last night’s meal and bringing a great volunteer team to help serve our guests. Cook Chris McKenney with the help of Meagan and Tom prepared grilled ham/cheese sandwiches and fish chowder. The prep team put together a delicious macaroni salad and freshly baked cakes were frosted for dessert. Thanks to all the volunteers that helped to setup the hall, prep, cook, and cleanup!!

Thank you S**o Valley Credit Union for sponsoring tonight’s meal and having a great team helping to serve our guests!! Our cooks Joel and Wendy made a delicious Shepherds Pie served with peas. Thanks to our prep team for preparing the salad and Dorothy baked her homemade banana cake for dessert. Thanks to all the volunteers that made the meal a success. And a big welcome back to Elaine, our most senior volunteer who turned 90 in July!

Thanks to our meal sponsors Sappi North America and Maine Community Bank for having teams of volunteers help us cook and serve tonight. Our guests enjoyed tortillas & salsa, a southwestern chicken bake, sautéed green beans, and brownies. Big thanks to all our regular volunteers that help out every week and make our program fun and rewarding!

A busy rainy day at S**o Meals! Thanks to Ms Davis’s S**o Middle School Class for helping us put away our monthly Good Shepherd Food Bank Delivery this morning! It’s great having the students help us out! Big thanks to Bangor Savings Bank for sponsoring tonight’s meal and having a team to help serve! Our cooks Joel and Wendy did a fantastic job making minestrone soup to start and oven fried chicken & waffles with syrup! Dorothy and the prep team made strawberry short cake for dessert. Thanks to everyone that helped set up hall, prep, serve, and cleanup!! Over 140 meals were prepared and served tonight!
