This is Not an Official page of the Wounded Warrior Amputee Softball Team. This Page is about hosting the Wounded Warrior Amputee Softball Team during their Visit to Maine on August 8 & 9, 2014. The WWAST will visit the Togus VA Medical Center on Friday August 8, and play an exhibition Game against Togus Softball team. This event will be open to the Public and a Picnic will be provided by the Wate

rville Elks. On Saturday August 9, the day will start out with a team breakfast open to the public. The breakfast will be served from 7-11AM at the Biddeford AMVETS Post 1. Starting at 11AM There will be a motorcycle escort/parade to the Ballfield at Old Orchard Beach.

1PM is game time! The Wounded Warrior Amputee Softball Team will face off against a team fielded by the Maine Army National Guard. General Admission for the game is free...Donations accepted and Welcomed! A Lobster Bake and Concert is planned after the Game at the Ball field. Sponsors are needed to help fund this visit to Maine! The Committee is an all Volunteer effort and ALL Profits will benefit the Wounded Heroes Program of Maine.
