EmpowerED Outreach is headed to WFAA Daybreak! 🎥✨

We’re so excited to be one of the nonprofits selected to join WFAA on September 3rd in preparation for North Texas Giving Day!

This is such an exciting opportunity to bring more awareness to our mission and the work we’re doing to help remove the financial barrier to trauma therapy for individuals impacted by childhood trauma.

So thankful for Joe & Brandi Mount and Tempo Air for donating a 5 ton AC unit to us. This donation will be instrumental in helping us provide therapy sessions in the shop along with helping us provide more camps!

This summer has been a tough one with the extreme heat, and we’ve been so thankful to have our barn for Tanka, Darlin, Reba, Lucy, and Magic. They have been able to get out of the sun, cool down, rest, and have some much-needed protection from the heat.

Honestly, getting the barn up was a big decision for us. It was something the animals really needed, so we went ahead and made it happen even though we knew we would still have to figure out how to cover the cost.

Now we could really use some help with that part.

The barn is already being put to good use, and seeing our rescue equines have a safe place to escape the heat makes every bit of it worth it. We just need a little help from our rescue family to get the barn paid for.
