🌟 Investing in the leaders of tomorrow! 🌟

The Royse City Rotary Club was proud to sponsor six students to attend Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) camp this year. At last Thursday’s luncheon, four of the campers joined us to share their incredible experiences and the leadership lessons, friendships, and personal growth they gained along the way.

Hearing their stories reminded us why supporting our youth matters. We’re excited to see these future leaders put their new skills into action and make a positive impact in our community! 💙💛

The Royse City Rotary Club kicked off a new Rotary year with incoming President Aaron Carr leading his first club meeting. During the meeting, Aaron had the honor of presenting the Rotarian of the Year Award to longtime member and Flag Program Chair Tom Riley.

Tom was recognized for his outstanding dedication, leadership, and unwavering commitment to the club and the community. Through his stewardship of the club’s flag program and his continued service, he exemplifies Rotary’s motto of Service Above Self.

Congratulations to Tom Riley on this well-deserved recognition, and best wishes to President Aaron Carr as he leads the Royse City Rotary Club into another impactful year of service!

Yesterday, the Royse City Rotary Club celebrated our 22nd Annual Installation Banquet and another incredible year of service, leadership, and community impact.

This year, we took it up a notch by also kicking off the celebration of America 250! What a wonderful evening spent honoring our members, recognizing achievements, and looking ahead to another year of making a difference.

Thank you to everyone who continues to serve our community and embody the Rotary motto of Service Above Self.

Service above self in action. đź’™

Several members of the Royse City Rotary Club recently joined the Sleep in Heavenly Peace Project to help build beds for children in need. Together, volunteers built 20 beds that were delivered the very same day to children ages 18 and younger.

For some of these kids, this will be the very first time they’ve ever had a bed of their own.

We are proud to partner in projects that bring comfort, hope, and dignity to children and families in our community. Thank you to everyone who volunteered their time and talents to make a difference one bed at a time.

Last Thursday during our lunch meeting, the Royse City Rotary Club proudly honored the dedicated firefighters who serve and protect our community every day.

As a token of appreciation for their commitment and sacrifice, our club presented a $500 donation to the Royse City Professional Firefighters Association. Thank you to our local heroes for all you do to keep Royse City safe! 🚒❤️

The Royse City Rotary Club was proud to sponsor the Cops & Bobbers Kid Fishing Derby—a day filled with fun, laughter, and unforgettable memories for local kids and families. 💙

From baiting hooks to reeling in their first catch, participants had the chance to connect with our amazing law enforcement officers in a relaxed, positive environment. It’s events like these that strengthen community bonds and create lasting impact.

The Royse City Rotary Club Social is happening on April 30th at 6PM, and you won’t want to miss this meaningful program featuring Darren Collins of Project HAND UP.

Through the power of puppets and performing arts, Project HAND UP is making a real difference—educating children and families across East Africa about health, safety, and disease prevention in a way that truly connects.

Darren, a member of the DeSoto Rotary Club, now lives in Africa and is bringing these life-changing programs directly to the communities that need them most. 🌱

Our club is proud to have been one of the first in the District to support Darren and his mission—and we’re excited to welcome him back for this special Social!
