SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT!!!!
The following is the vision for 2026 for Stand for Christ Ministry. I pray you ask God to show you on to sow into the vision God has given us for this coming year. If you have any questions please contact me and we can discuss it more. This will take an entire community to make happen.
The vision is to establish a Christ-centered community space that is open and accessible to women, men, and children—both married and single—where individuals and families can come for mentorship, discipleship, and healthy fellowship in a safe, welcoming environment. This center would exist to strengthen people at every stage of life by addressing real-world challenges while fostering connection, accountability, and hope.
Specifically, the community center would seek to respond to several pressing needs within our city, including:
• Youth mentorship, providing guidance, positive role models, and life skills
• Men’s mental and emotional health, creating safe and supportive spaces for growth and healing
• Family and marriage support, offering guidance for parenting, relationships, and life transitions
• Support for veterans and first responders, addressing reintegration, trauma, and community connection
• GED and educational support, assisting individuals in earning their GED and pursuing further education or vocational opportunities
• Practical life support, including job readiness, resume writing, and personal development
In addition, the center would house a biblical counseling office, offering compassionate and ethical counseling grounded in Christian values, focused on healing, personal responsibility, and restoration.
This initiative is envisioned as a collaborative effort. We are seeking support and partnership from the city, as well as from local businesses and churches, to ensure the center is sustainable, accountable, and truly responsive to community needs. This could include guidance, shared resources, strategic partnerships, or other forms of collaboration that align with the city’s goals and existing services.
The center would be open to individuals from all walks of life and would function as a hub for community connection, education, and support. At its core, the mission is to build a healthier, stronger community by investing in individuals, families, and relationships.
I am reaching out to ask whether the city would be open to a conversation about this type of partnership—whether through guidance on zoning and requirements, potential use of available spaces, or exploring how this initiative might complement current community programs.
Thank you for your time, leadership, and continued service to our city. I would welcome the opportunity to discuss this vision further and learn how to move forward together in a way that best serves our community.
Respectfully,
Daniel Bueno
